Boys Nights Now Include Steak Night and Nail Polish
This October, Unicorn Lab is raising funds for Polished Man, standing with women and children impacted by violence, and starting conversations that should never be kept quiet.

A few months ago, some friends and I decided we wanted to raise funds for Polished Man during October. Then these legends jumped on board and agreed to paint their nails in solidarity.
Not as a gimmick, but to speak up about violence and sexual violence against women and children, and to help raise money for a cause that matters.
These are the men we want around us, men who speak up loudly. Men who are not afraid to do something visible, and in public. Men who understand that a painted nail can start a conversation that someone else might not know how to begin.

One nail can start the conversation
This October, Team Unicorn is raising funds for Polished Man, a non-profit initiative working to end violence against women and children.
The boys are going to have one nail, or all ten, painted during October to raise awareness and money for the cause.
Donations go towards trauma recovery, prevention programs and community initiatives. Unicorn Lab is also donating 50% of all profits from our Men's Cuticle Oil range sold during October.

Why this one matters personally
Polished Man is an initiative I have raised funds for in the past, and wanted to be part of again this year through my own personal experiences and the experiences of women I have met and made friendships with over the years.
It is horrific to experience abuse, and no woman or child should be subject to violence in any form, especially at the hands of someone who is meant to bring trust and safety into their life.
From a woman who has experienced abuse, I wholeheartedly thank these boys. We cannot change the world in one month, but we can change how we approach these conversations, what we choose to ignore, and the actions we take in our own circles.

Day one update
Our monthly goal was $500. By 9pm on day one, we had already reached $497.
