1. Program Purpose
Unicorn Lab® Emerging Nail Tech Access is a temporary retail discount program for eligible students currently undertaking nail, beauty or related professional training. It is separate from the Unicorn Lab Pro / Wholesale Account program and does not provide or guarantee professional or wholesale eligibility.
2. Discount
Approved applicants receive 10% off eligible Unicorn Lab products during their active Emerging Nail Tech Access period. The discount is linked to the approved customer's Unicorn Lab account and is personal and non-transferable.
3. Course Verification
Applicants must provide evidence that allows Unicorn Lab to verify their official course commencement date. Supporting evidence may include an enrolment confirmation, course documentation, student portal record, invoice, receipt or written confirmation from the relevant training provider. Unicorn Lab may request additional information where required to reasonably verify eligibility. False, altered, misleading or unverifiable documentation may result in an application being declined or existing access being withdrawn.
4. Six-Month Eligibility Period
Emerging Nail Tech Access is available for a maximum period of six calendar months calculated from the applicant's verified course commencement date. The eligibility period does not begin on the date the application is submitted or approved. Where the verified course starts on a future date, access begins from that course commencement date. Where a course has already commenced, only the remaining portion of the six-month period is available. If more than six months have passed since the verified course commencement date, the applicant is no longer eligible for Emerging Nail Tech Access.
5. Expiry & After Expiry
Emerging Nail Tech Access automatically expires six calendar months after the verified course commencement date. The associated 10% Student Access pricing will then be removed. Failure to receive, open or read an expiry communication does not extend the eligibility period. After Emerging Nail Tech Access expires, customers may apply for a Unicorn Lab Pro / Wholesale Account if they meet the current eligibility requirements, join the paid Unicorn VIP Club, or continue shopping at standard retail pricing.
6. Progressing To Pro / Wholesale
Emerging Nail Tech Access does not automatically qualify an applicant for Pro / Wholesale status. Accepted professional qualification pathways generally include Certificate II or higher in Nail Technology, Beauty Services, Beauty Therapy, or another recognised equivalent accepted by Unicorn Lab. Applicants must also meet the current Pro / Wholesale Account requirements in force at the time they apply.
7. Eligible Products & Combining Discounts
Emerging Nail Tech Access may be used on eligible Unicorn Lab products, including retail products, private label products, factory packs and bulk products. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the discount does not apply to separate Pro / Wholesale Account pricing, gift cards, shipping, or products/promotions specifically excluded by Unicorn Lab. Emerging Nail Tech Access cannot normally be combined or stacked with another coupon or discount.
8. Customer Account Requirement
Emerging Nail Tech Access is linked to the approved applicant's individual Unicorn Lab customer account. Customers must order through the account associated with their approved email address to receive applicable Student Access pricing. Access cannot be transferred, shared or retrospectively applied to purchases placed using another customer account.
9. Email And Program Communications
Applicants must provide and maintain a valid email address so Unicorn Lab can send essential information relating to their application and Student Access, including approval, activation, expiry and access status. Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate account contact details.
10. Misuse Or Withdrawal & Changes
Unicorn Lab may decline, suspend or withdraw Emerging Nail Tech Access where eligibility information is false, altered or misleading; the applicant cannot reasonably verify their course details; the discount or customer account is shared or transferred; the program is deliberately misused; or the customer materially breaches these Terms. Unicorn Lab may update program benefits, exclusions, eligibility requirements or these Terms from time to time.
